Brooklyn Museum 200 Eastern Parkway exhibition: Pierre Cardin: Future Fashion curated and designed by Matthew Yokobosky opens to the public NOTE: An exemplary fashion exhibition, placing the designer, best known for his licensing empire, in the context of his flowering during the Space Age period. His influence was widespread, from Star Trek and The Jetsons to unisex outfits, though he is little remembered today. The exhibition is beautifully staged by the curator, without the distractions that mar so many fashion and furniture presentations.
