FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION

Today, we initiate a new category, non-profit art presenters deserving of donations, no matter the size. There are no applications, no long forms to fill out, no nominations.  The only criterion is that the selected venues appeal to me. The descriptions of their requests are from their own websites. Especially during this week of new openings and multiple art fairs, we hope you will consider a contribution to continue this work.

Stand4 Gallery 414 78th St Bay Ridge

The gallery has announced its fundraising goals:

“Help Stand4 Gallery Grow!

“Stand4 Gallery is an artist-run community art space that has been bringing fine arts programming into the heart of Bay Ridge since 2017. It is hard to believe we are heading into our 7th year and I would like to thank all of you for joining us on this adventure, supporting us along the way and becoming part of the Stand4 community.

“In May of 2022 we obtained fiscal sponsorship through Fractured Atlas in the hopes of supporting artists, expanding our grant research and funding opportunities to help us become more financially sustainable and to help us grow. I hope you will consider donating.

“Fractured Atlas will receive grants for the charitable purposes of Stand4 Gallery, provide oversight to ensure that grant funds are used in accordance with grant agreements, and provide reports as required by the grantor. Contributions for the charitable purposes of Stand4 Gallery must be made payable to Fractured Atlas and are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.”
