Perhaps the most promising of the openings in New York today is that of Sarah Crowner at Nicelle Beauchene. The work in "The Wave" consists "of sewn paintings surrounding an elevated, glazed terra cotta floor," according to the press release. All the other exhibitions debuting in New York today are in the same area on the Lower East side.
