On this day once set aside for solemn remembrance, there are
no scheduled art and design events. Most major museums are maintaining regular hours, with large crowds expected.
Event of Special Interest: The 148th Annual Kings County Memorial Day Parade starts at 11am
at 78th St and Third Ave in Bay Ridge. Presented by the United Military Veterans
of Kings County, the parade proceeds down Third Ave to Marine Ave where it
turns and goes up Fourth Ave and over to John Paul Jones Park.
